Jolie

Jolie is excited to join the 2026 fun race to Hawaii! Jolie is a 2022 Beneteau Oceanis 38.1, and although not the fastest, she's certainly a contender for the funnest. Her PHRF is 118, though she races more comfortably at the 135 range, doesn't point very tight, but has a pretty killer sound system and oven. Her core crew is two dads and their adult sons (a firefighter and a dinghy sailing instructor). We're also hoping to convince an uncle--a very experienced Great Lakes sailor--and his daughter (a UofM rowing star) to join. We race pretty regularly in SoCal: a few local pursuits, back and forth to Catalina Island, and the Newport to Ensenada for the last couple of years. We have a lot of prep to do: upgrading some rigging, dialing up the safety, getting a few new sails, hauling out and more. But the excitement of sailing into Kaneohe Yacht Club will get us through the tough prep! Hope to see you all out on the pacific soon. - The Jolie Crew
