Qualifying Sail Details

On March 31, 2024 Paikea set out from Grand Marina for out Pac Cup qualifying sail. We returned on the afternoon of April 1, 2024. In that time we sailed a bit over 200 miles. At one point we were about 75 miles WSW of the Golden Gate Bridge. 

The crew consisted of the same 6 people who plan to be on the race in July:

We caught a crab trap near Duxbury Point and dragged one of the floats around for well over 100 miles.
