I am a dedicated and adaptable sailor with a deep appreciation for offshore racing and the particular challenges the Pacific tends to offer. Since moving to San Francisco in 2018, I have steadily integrated myself into the Bay’s sailing community, progressing from weeknight beercan races to offshore competition, including the 2024 Pacific Cup.
What draws me most to offshore sailing is the combination of technical skill, teamwork, and ongoing problem-solving required to keep a boat moving safely and efficiently across open water. I am a flexible crew member, equally comfortable trimming sails, driving, or stepping into the galley when morale would benefit from something more interesting than Cabbage Macaroni Tuna—or at least a more optimistic interpretation of it.
For the 2026 Pacific Cup, I look forward to contributing my offshore experience, adaptability, and steady temperament to a crew that values preparation, collaboration, and the shared goal of a fast, safe crossing. I aim to be useful, low-maintenance, and generally pointed in the right direction.
