Former professional chef and coastal sailor looking to crew on a Pacific Cup boat or return delivery. I do not have ocean passage experience yet, so I’m not trying to oversell myself as a bluewater racer, but I am reliable, useful, calm, and happy doing the unglamorous work.
My strongest contribution is galley/provisioning/morale. I can plan practical offshore meals, cook in a moving galley, manage supplies, reduce waste, and keep a tired crew fed without turning the boat into a mess.
I’m also happy standing watch, sitting rail, grinding, cleaning, helping with prep, and learning from more experienced offshore sailors. I’m technically handy, easy to get along with, and looking for a safe, serious boat where I can contribute and earn ocean miles.
Flexible on role, not precious, and happy to earn my place.
