Ready to Race

I am a Catalina C320 owner, and I maintain my own boat. This makes me capable with diesel maintenance, electrical issues, and electronics. Oh yeah - I fixed the head on the Vic-Maui (2022), saving us from using the bucket for the last seven days. I have raced Annapolis to Newport (soon to be twice - 2019 and 2025), once on a J120 and once on an XP44. I raced the Vic-Maui (Tripp 47), and the Newport to Bermuda in 2024 (on the XP44). I have also sailed the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, moving the XP44 from Denmark to the Netherlands. I am a retired military officer. I get along well with others and like to go fast. I have served as watch captain on the XP44 but don't need to be in a position of authority. I don't mind long stints on the wheel. Put simply, I will know my role and will shut my hole.
