Have navigated 26 races to Hawaii, with division wins in 2000 and 2012, plus numerous podium finishes. Fifteen Pac Cups, starting with the first one in 1980 (when it was all celestial). Also ten Transpacs, and one Singlehanded Transpac (in my Merit 25, round trip!). Add three Mexico races and two Marion-Bermuda.
I would like to try sailing as cook! I've seen it done well and not-so-well. The broader problem is one of "human factors." It's not just about nutritional support. I believe i know how to keep a race crew well fed, in good spirits and very competitive without the usual sleep deprivation.
Also on my CV: I'm a naval architect and write a popular monthly column for Latitude 38, and have served as an inspector for both Transpac and Pacific Cup.
Feel free to email direct: pk-at-well-dot-com for my complete sailing resume. (I could probably also be talked into signing on as navigator, on the right boat...)

(I'm the Paul in the "Paul or Andy" choice...)
