I grew up sailing and racing on the Connecticut coast, where my family had multiple sailboats, including, for 20+ years, a Tartan 30, which I skippered for many years. I worked as a sailing and racing instructor, yacht rigger, yacht club launch driver, and self-employed hull-cleaning diver in Connecticut during my high school and college years. I worked at a sailboat charter marina in Sausalito, California for about 18 months shortly after college, during which time I crewed on an Ocean 70 on San Francisco Bay that formerly completed the Whitbread Round the World Race. Strong navigational skills. Overnight racing experience (Swan 47, J-24). Highly mechanical. Low maintenance, reliable, adaptable team player with a positive and friendly attitude who understands the importance of communication and collaboration. Calm under pressure and eager to contribute to a safe and enjoyable journey for everyone onboard. Age 58. Non-smoker. Fit. Lifelong runner. Extensive project management experience. I've spent the last 20+ years in various executive roles in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and raising two young sailors.
